Shamrock Leathers Inc. is a premiere manufacturer of quality leather products located in St. Joseph, Minnesota, USA. Our product lines include clay target shooting gear and award plaques.
Our Founder, Ed Brophy, was introduced to the sport of trapshooting in 1968. It was love at first shot. He enjoyed the camaraderie and competition the sport offered. While Ed was powdering his first clay pigeon he was completing his studies as an Industrial Arts Major at St. Cloud State University. His innate appreciation for fine craftsmanship combined with his childhood fascination with the natural durability and flexibility of fine leather intersected and Shamrock Leathers first product was born. The Leather Shell Bag.
Ed grew Shamrock Leathers by attending club shoots, state shoots and the Grand American. During this time his reputation as an elite craftsman and of the quality of his products was on the rise. Shamrock Leathers has always been a family company. In 1977 Ed's wife, Carol quit her teaching job and joined the company as a full time partner. It was during this time that Shamrock Leathers introduced Leather trophy products to the market. The elite craftsmanship of this product line combined with the rising price of silver resulted in a very successful product launch. The product line now includes award plaques that are uniquely Shamrock and a full line of accessories.
During the last three decades the company has experienced steady growth. We are honored to serve individuals, clubs and organizations. The marketplace continues to appreciate the customized, hand crafting evident in all of our product lines. Today we serve customers in all 50 states and six countries. Our products are world renown for the quality and elite craftsmanship present in every Shamrock Leathers product.
Shamrock Leathers is pleased to be an official licensee of the Amateur Trapshooting Association, the Pacific International Trapshooting Association, the Scholastic Clay Target Program, and the USA High School Clay Target League.
